Contact us

We aim to respond to enquiries within 5 business days (Tuesday to Friday). We are closed on public holidays.
Great! Have you checked out our resources section? It includes information about sex work laws, industrial rights and other issues that impact sex workers.
We handle all complaints and feedback as per our policy, which you can read here. If you make an anonymous complaint we will assess and investigate the matter to the extent possible, however we may be limited in doing so by having only the information you share with us. We will not be able to respond to anonymous complaints.
Is this a complaint or feedback?(Required)
A complaint is an expression of dissatisfaction made to Scarlet Alliance, related to our work or the complaint handling process itself, where a response or resolution is explicitly or implicitly expected. Feedback is opinions, comments, suggestions, and expressions of interest in the work of Scarlet Alliance.
Would you like to be anonymous(Required)

Great! So that we can best direct your enquiry, please include the following information in the contact form below.

  • The name of the publication/station/channel
  • The deadline for your piece
  • The date and time you are hoping to conduct an interview
  • If you would like a phone, Zoom or email interview (face-to-face interviews are generally only available for TV/video)
  • A list of questions or prompts if you have them
  • The names of other people and organisations you have approached

If you are a student journalist, please use the contact option for students instead of this one.

For our latest media releases, click here. If you request is genuinely urgent, please text 0402 633 424.

Thanks for your interest in including sex workers in your work.

Before sending your enquiry, please view our website, social media and the following resources:

  • Decriminalisation Briefing Paper
  • The Principles for Model Sex Work Legislation.
  • Sex worker-driven research: best practice ethics
  • Research Guide: Conducting Ethical Research on the Sex Work

If these links do not answer your questions, please provide the following information:

  • The name of the university, school or other institution.
  • For students: unit name, name of your degree or diploma, name of your supervisor/tutor/lecturer/course co-ordinator, the deadline for your piece and your list of questions.
  • For researchers: how sex workers are included in your research, your research proposal and ethics application and/or approval.

We assist students and researchers when we can, but our capacity to do so is limited.

We are unable to support or promote research that only involves sex workers as research participants.

You can also contact one of our state or territory member organisations for support. Select your location from the drop-down to see the relevant contact details. Otherwise you can contact Scarlet Alliance using the form below.
