The Queensland Crime and Misconduct Commission did a 2004 inquiry into the sex industry but did not fulfill a requirement to investigate the possibility of changes to prostutitution regulations regarding escort work. Their 2004 investigation was marred by a clear bias against sex work and the assumption that exiting and retraining was a priority for sex workers. Thus they were required to seek more information about sex workers actual work places and work conditions. This submission is to the second CMC Inquiry, regarding escort work.
